With the establishment of the Faculty of the VCA and Music on 6 April 2009, the Faculty currently operates two agencies, the Artists Booking Service (Southbank) and the Musicians’ Agency (Parkville).
Both services seek to bring you in contact with Australia’s most promising emerging performers and arts practitioners for events such as:
- Corporate functions, awards nights, dinners or product launches
- Wedding ceremonies, pre-dinner drinks and receptions
- Cocktail parties, birthdays or anniversaries
- Festivals, special events or venue residencies
- Concert performances
- Productions services, such as event management or lighting, sound or set design
The Artists Booking Service is a professional agency, offering the services of performing artists specialising in classical and contemporary music, contemporary dance and choreography, roving and street performances, actors, production staff and visual artists.
The Musicians’ Agency seeks to enhance performance opportunities for its students and can provide classical and contemporary ensembles, contact to teachers for private music tuition, composition services including transposition, typesetting, arrangement and original music creation and recording.
These will be consolidated into one agency shortly.
