| The E H Shepard Award is a donation made by Giles Hunt, great grandson of the famous illustrator and cartoonist. The award is for their major production in Second Semester. The major production is the student’s main assignment under the subject Assigned Projects, which is a year long subject. The criteria for the award includes originality, strength of screenplay, personal style and appropriateness of technique as determined by the donor and his panel. Currently the donation is $5000 and is awarded to only one recipient. Previous winners are ineligible. The award is competitive and the student must be currently enrolled.

The grant provides filmmakers with up to $1,000 per annum total, to be spent within 12 months on application fees for cinemas, festivals or other screening events/mechanisms (including online exhibition). Application fees may include submission costs, postage; and may not include film processing, post production, film duplication. |
